Our journey begins in Sète, a vibrant coastal town in the South of France, where the Mediterranean meets timeless culinary traditions. David grew up enjoying Zezette, a crispy, sugar-coated cookie with deep regional roots. 

In the '90s, La Belle Époque began commercializing this local favorite, turning it into a beloved treat across the region.

When Cynthia first visited Sète in 2010, David introduced her to Zezette, and it quickly became her go-to indulgence. Whether dipped in coffee or enjoyed on its own, its light, crunchy texture and subtle sweetness made it irresistible.

Every time they returned home, friends and family couldn’t get enough, placing “Zezette orders” to share in the deliciousness. That’s when they knew it was time to bring this Mediterranean gem to you.
